Fellow Traders, I would like to introduce you to Trader AI. This is a new system that i have been developing to increase my Trading Efficency.
This system is Multi-Purpose, Its Current key features are:
Automated import of Raw Market logs into an access DB. Browse the Market from a Different Perspective, i.e. View Sell Orders in jita and Buy orders in Domain at the same time. View Market Data in Daily Time Slices. i.e. compare the buy and sell orders of trit from one day to the next.
To give you an idea of where this is going, the next functions i will be adding shortly are:
Best buy locator, Best Sell Locator, Market Hub Analiser, Traders workflow management, Ability to compare buy orders to buy orders and sell orders to sell orders in different regions or systems. Various reports based on collected data, lots more.
At this stage in development i am keen to get some input and suggestions from fellow traders and also find a couple of people to help test the system while its under development. Im trying to tackle this project from a Traders point of view, based on needs and requirements. ive been trading for a long time and know the basics, but it would be helpfull to get some constructive feedback.
Ive been working on this for 4-5 days so far, here are some screenies.
Screenie1 Screenie2 Screenie3 Screenie4
Hopefully this will give you an idea of what it does.
This is being built using ms access 2008, Does not require API key or login details etc. It is also an uncompiled version so you can look through the small ammount of code thats in there.
Current Requirements.
Need a Few testers to help get it going. need to have office installed. Feature Requests, must be specific and based upon the foundations of what i have so far.

jimbo: Re: ccp's view, i know im not doing anything bad, its just raw market log data exports combined with a few of the tables they make avalible from the SQL dump and some access skill.
and yea , ive allready found a few orders to fill while building it lol. inter-region :)

in reply to the last couple of posts.
Access is very underused.
the last app i built with it was integrated with a predictive dialler and used by 2000 call centre agents. back end SQL ofc.
but access can actually hold a lot of data, upto a couple of gig.
the way i saw this being used was "there and then" finding the immediate deals etc. not as a historical lookup, well not more than months. weeks maybe and it should be ok for that.
i too dont like using any app that needs api details etc. this is uncompiled so you can look at every bit of code no problem. one of the reasons i made it.
i could split it into 2 databases, both access, just so there is less trouble upgrading versions etc and loosing data. obviously 1 is a back end holding tables only.
As for why is this one better? reporting and analitics. finding some realling interesting info so far. these are so east to add in, even by users.
Currently giving the system a test drive to see how it goes,
oh mail me in game if you want to test it, dont want to make this public yet, i will mail you back a download link to eve-files or something. with a password.
